Heartbreak at Bajaton
Word of San Diego’s first “Moombahton Monthly Riddim”, Bajaton! at U-31, is spreading quicker than a three alarm fire! Last month, Bajaton! included stimulating beats by featured Moombah-master selectah’s suck as ETC! ETC! (LA), JWLS (Miami) and Sazon Booya. San Diego’s own Colour Vision and Roane, provided opening sets, effectively prepared the attendees for the headliners. Hosted by themixster.com, whose continuous efforts ensured the “moombah-movement” would be documented fervently. The lively visual effects, provided by A/S/L, contributed greatly to the entertainment and colorful mood of the evening. While the $3 pina colada shots poured, the alluring beats summoned dance floor involvement. Once out on the dance floor there was no stopping, no wrong way, no negativity and absolutely NO dance partner needed! Sweat dripped, hips dropped low, feet moved in time and everyone enjoyed the fun! Local periodicals, The Reader and City Beat, buzzed about Bajaton!’s debut as well!
Don’t go this month without checking San Diego’s first monthly Moombahton party at U-31. The next one is TONIGHT, October 5th with special guest David Heartbreak! Heartbreak is a recognized DJ/producer, praised by peers including Diplo, Dave Nada, Toddla T and Brodinsky. His music proficiency has contributed to Moombahton and it’s rise in supporters.
